The Case for Investing in the U.S. Housing Market
-
Imbalanced Stock Market & Spending
Despite being one of the largest asset classes in the world – accounting for one third of consumer spending – housing is underrepresented in stock indexes.
-
Market Shortages, Growing Demand
Chronic underinvestment in housing despite projected growth in critical age cohorts has created an imbalance in housing supply vs demand.
-
Spending on Home Improvements
With the average age of the American home reaching an all time high, spending on home improvements and renovations is predicted to grow exponentially.
-
Rising Rents & Housing Costs
With skyrocketing demand and lagging supply, housing costs and rent have become an increasingly larger share of consumer spending.
