American Healthcare REIT (AHR) - Hoya Hotseat In the News All AHR Mar 19 Written By Alex Pettee, CFA Hoya Capital American Healthcare REIT (AHR) is a mid-cap healthcare REIT that owns a diverse portfolio of roughly 300 clinical healthcare properties across the United States. Among the newest public REITs following its 2024 IPO, AHR was formed through the merger of several non-traded REITs managed by Griffin-American. Including its majority holdings in Trilogy Holdings - which operates the company’s Senior Health Campuses - roughly 45% of AHR’s portfolio is comprised of senior housing properties, 35% are skilled nursing facilities, and 20% are medical office properties.

Continue reading ▶︎ Interviews Press All Hoya Hotseat AHR Alex Pettee, CFA Transcript well good morning thank you for having me uh the name of my company is American Healthcare Reit and we are a diversified Healthcare Reit focusing on clinical Healthcare real estate clinical means where patients are being seen by providers the main types of assets we buy are outpatient medical buildings uh sister living Independent Living skilled nursing those types of properties uh we uh we've been around a long long time uh under different names but but in essence American Healthcare Reit was formed in the fall of 2021 by merging two non- Trader reats along with our management management platformed uh we combin those three companies in October of 2021 and formed American Healthcare reate and as I'm sure you're aware we uh raised additional equity and became publicly traded a little over a year ago in uh February of 2024 okay so our our firm has always been a re since day one so these these these companies were ...
