Continue reading ▶︎ Interviews Press All Hoya Hotseat CSR Alex Pettee, CFA Transcript yeah thanks I can give you a quick overview we are a multif family Reit focused on providing great homes and vibrant communities throughout the mid Mountain West Center space uh trades on the New York Stock Exchange under CSR and our mission as I said is to provide a great home for our uh residents our investors and our team members Center space was founded in 1970 in Minot North Dakota that's shortly after the new re legislation came to fruition and a couple people thought that that was an interesting way to own properties and bought a small multif family building in Min not North Dakota um as the company grew it was an inate re and then at some point it got big enough where it needed to be publicly uh traded and so in 1997 the company became listed in uh 2020 we changed the name from investors real estate trust which was how the company was founded to Center space multif family is just one of many sectors in commercial real estate but we think it's a great place for us to be invested um you really have a chance to impact the results through operations multif family real estate is a very Hands-On business where creating a positive customer experience is a key goal each and every day from a fundamentals perspective you know you can downsize office space you can work from home ...
