Continue reading ▶︎ Interviews Press All STRW Hoya Hotseat Alex Pettee, CFA Transcript sure so our company is a we're a healthcare re uh started about 20 years ago that specializes in skilled nursing facilities our portfol Olio currently includes uh like I said skilled n facilities as well as assisted living and hospitals previously um and we look at currently Mo as well um our strategy is to keep doing what we've been doing the last 20 years uh which is basically growing ffo regularly and uh and again we're we so we distribute most of our net income and we use the portion that's not distributed from depreciation and amortization and we use that to keep growing and building our our balance sheet and buying more assets we like to stay very very disciplined so we keep buying the same kind of assets buying exactly the same way with the same model with the same uh Financial um you know situations and um so we're going to continue continue doing that Al so that's a good question so the back the real back end of that story is my partner Michael and I um we were in the nursing home business as operators owner operators we own the real estate and we and we ran the nursing homes and we realized as time ...
